MLA Compact is Martin Audio’s multi-cellular line array, a smaller version of their flagship MLA. Each cell in the box is powered and controlled individually, so the array can be optimised to put sound on the audience and keep it off everything else.
Each enclosure has two 10″ LF drivers, two 5″ mids and four 0.7″ compression drivers, five channels of Class D amplification (4200W peak) and 135dB peak output. Horizontal coverage is 100°. It weighs 49.5kg and is networked over U-NET, with arrays optimised in Martin Audio’s DISPLAY software.
