The Beta 52A is the kick mic you’ll find on festival riders everywhere. It gives you the thump and the click without much work at the desk.
It’s a supercardioid dynamic with a 20Hz to 10kHz response tailored for kick drums and bass instruments, and it handles up to 174 dB SPL. There’s a built-in locking stand adapter with the XLR on board, which makes it quick to place inside or outside the drum. It weighs 605g.
Put it on kick, bass cabs or low brass. Pair it with a short boom stand, or with a Beta 91A inside the drum for a two-mic kick setup.
