Description
The e 914 is Sennheiser’s small-diaphragm condenser for detailed live and studio work. It’s rugged enough for drum overheads and smooth enough for strings.
It’s a cardioid condenser with a 20Hz to 20kHz response. There’s a switchable pre-attenuation pad for loud sources and a three-position bass roll-off to cut rumble and proximity effect. It needs 48V phantom power, and it has a metal body.
Use it on overheads, hi-hat, acoustic guitar, piano, percussion and orchestral sections at gigs, theatre and church services. Order a pair for stereo, and add stands or a stereo bar to your hire list.
