Description
The D6 is the kick mic that sounds finished before you touch the EQ. It gives you a big, modern low end with plenty of beater click on top.
It’s a cardioid dynamic with Audix’s VLM Type E capsule, a 30Hz to 15kHz response and max SPL of 144 dB or more. It’s compact for a kick mic at 254g, so it’s easy to place inside or outside the drum.
Use it on kick, floor toms, bass cabs and Leslie bottoms at gigs and festivals. Add an Audix D Clip or a short boom stand, and let us know the kit so we can build the rest of the drum package.
