The PG58 is Shure’s entry-level vocal mic. It’s a simple, dependable choice for speeches and small events where you don’t need a top-end capsule.
It’s a cardioid dynamic with a 60Hz to 15kHz response tuned for lead and backing vocals, a die-cast metal handle, a steel mesh grille and a built-in on/off switch.
Use it for toasts, quizzes, rehearsals and spare vocal mics. For band vocals we’d point you at the SM58 or Beta 58A. Add stands and cables to your hire list and we’ll sort the rest.
